Evergreen Bollywood Love Songs

Bollywood Love Songs To Make You Fall In Love All Over Again!

Bollywood Love Songs? In an era of ‘aaj raat ka scene bana le’, I shudder to think what is the definition of love that our children are growing up on. I really wish they were exposed to more restrained sense of love and more melodic musical era. Here are some of the Bollywood Love Songs, that our parents will surely approve off and may be dedicate to their valentine. And may be if our kids get to hear them sans any remix, they would too.

Here are some of the Bollywood Love Songs, that our parents will surely approve off and may be dedicate to their valentine

1) Lag Jaa Gale sung by the Lata Mangeshkar featured Sadhna, who was mysteriously beautiful and irresistible to the dashing Manoj Kumar. This haunting melody has topped the love charts for more than 50 years now. The movie 'Woh Kaun Thi" makes for a great thriller-watch too.

2) 'Meri Jaan' is a song from the black and white era with a melody that will live forever. The chemistry between Sanjeev Kumar and Tanuja is raw and the rain in the background gives you goosebumps.

3) A simple poor boy Farooq Sheikh, falls in love with a rich man's daughter played by Deepti Naval. But when in Jagjit Singh's melodious voice he croons 'Zindagi dhoop, tum Ghana saya', she falls in love with him, nectar over roots.

4) Resist the charm of heartthrob Shammi Kapoor if you can. Especially when he croons 'Mar bhi gaye toh, denge duayein'. Ohh, they don't make men like him anymore.

5) This movie was way ahead of its time. A husband and wife's romance was brought alive by Gulzar's lyrics "Mehke hue se khwaab hai'. And if you were to believe the grapevine Rekha and Vinod Mehra hit it romantically in real life too, post this movie.

6) Charismatic Dev Anand and Beautiful Nutan flirt melodiously inside Qutub Minar. Yes 'pyaar ka raag suna re' with this one.

7) If you don't fall in love with Gulzar post hearing this song, well then check if your heart is in its place. This is a classic 'I am, but I am not in love with you' tease. It is simply heart-warming.

8) Masoom movie is a classic that can never be recreated. The love, the betrayal, the innocence and the songs. Each one a gem, but 'Huzoor is kadar bhi na itraa ke chaliye' is just what you need to set the romance in the air.

9) This number must have topped every love-request programme. A guitar in your hand and this song on your lips is sure to win you more than just the heart.

10) This song captures the irony of being in love. If you have watched this movie, you can feel the pain of how Rajesh Khanna's true love seems just an illusion to Waheeda Rehman.

Aren't these simply priceless. Yes the old world charm of songs and love is simply unmatchable. And now if you are looking for matchless Punjabi songs click here. For Indian Food recipe click here
