FabCafe Gurgaon Where Health Meets Indian Food

FabCafe Gurgaon was something we changed upon while out festive shopping. They already have two branches in Delhi and Bangalore we learnt. So we decided that we must try it out. And let you, our awesome followers know what on their menu is a must.

choose from their Rajasthani Gatte Ki Sabji, Bengali fish curry, Jackfruit Biryani, Butter paneer, shami kebab

Ok for the uninitiated FabIndia is a garment retail store that is famous for bringing ethnic wearing back in style. Especially for the next generation. They also ventured successfully into home decor and some popular food items. Especially chutneys, achaars, dips etc.

So FabCafe seems a natural way forward for them. And when travelling in India with kids, a must try for the travellers.

  Ambience

choose from their Rajasthani Gatte Ki Sabji, Bengali fish curry, Jackfruit Biryani, Butter paneer, shami kebab

- It fuses the traditional Indian with the metro culture. The place is spacious be some corners are classy. The all blue tile corner might be too jarring for some though. But let’s remember that FabIndia, the main brand is popular with the foreigners. It would suit their Indian-Darshan buds for sure.

The place is spacious and I definitely see it getting popular with coffee catching-up sessions, healthy kitty parties and so on.

  Service

choose from their Rajasthani Gatte Ki Sabji, Bengali fish curry, Jackfruit Biryani, Butter paneer, shami kebab

We were well looked after by Mr Purushottam who guided us well through their menu. The staff was friendly. The service was quick.

  Food

The food is good at FabCafe Sector 29. As mentioned before, this is where you will take your NRI cousin and friends from abroad for Indian food-tasting. One gets to choose from their Rajasthani Gatte Ki Sabji, Bengali fish curry, Jackfruit Biryani, Butter paneer, shami kebab and delicious Indian pieces of bread.
Also, this is where you go when you are counting your calories or the nutrition quotient of your meal. We tried Sprouts Golguppas with pomegranate juice and two other sweet and tangy Paani. It was good but if you like the Chandi Chowk types authentic Paani puri, then skip it. But the Quinoa and jackfruit rotis are a must try.

Overall our food was good, though a little bland for the desi Indian palette. But if you are travelling to India for the first time then this is a great choice for you. Their Jackfruit biscotti is something you are sure to take home.

Kids Will Love The Food Here-

choose from their Rajasthani Gatte Ki Sabji, Bengali fish curry, Jackfruit Biryani, Butter paneer, shami kebab

As Indian Mom Bloggers we know that the kids will like the food here. It is not very spicy or hot. Even the achaars are a little on the sweet side. Also, the variety is good, you have a pan-Indian cuisine here and can keep trying new dishes on every visit.

And yes the joy of having your kids eat while you shop next doors at FabIndia is priceless.

Are you looking for more kid-friendly places in Delhi and Gurgaon?
