Klutz JR. Egg Carton Animals- Book & Craft Kit Review

Klutz JR. Egg Carton Animals- Book & Craft Kit is what every parent needs to keep the kids occupied and happy. Trust me I have twins who can be absolutely self-sufficient one minute and unbelievably demanding the next. Which means I can either play 'who's the boss' game with them all day long or indulge them in constructive playtime.

Why Craft for Kids?

Klutz JR. Egg Carton Animals- Book & Craft Kit is what every parent needs to keep the kids occupied

Stimulates- Craft is a great way to let kids express creativity. Watch your kid make a polka-dot painted crocodile, a book-reading cow or simply a flying pig.

Bonds: When we create something together we connect at another level. It is all about communication and team-work and happy synchronisation of ideas and tempers. And that helps create a special bond between kids and parents.

Inspires: When children learn to create something of their own, it opens up the world for them. Each project and its completion inspires them to do better and to imagine bigger.

Strengthens: Craft is a great way to improve the fine motor skills of kids. Any art and craft activity encourages kids to use their fingers, eyes and brains.

Why Klutz?

Since 1977 this award-winning organisation has been fuelling creativity with premium activity kits. Every kit is a fun-starter and enjoyed equally by kids and adults with a sense of humour and inquisitiveness. Klutz Jr. is their way to reach to minds as young as 4+.

What is special about Egg Carton Animals Craft Kit?

- This Idea kit is a fun way to introduce your kids to the Barn animals and some fun animal facts. Using the contents while following the crystal-clear instructions, provided in the idea book, one can create different farm animals like a cow, goat, sheep, pony and more.

- There are more than 100 pieces of creativity-triggers in there - egg cartons, glue, googly eyes, out shapes, paints, paintbrush and more. All you need are happy fingers and a wandering mind.

Age appropriate: Ages 4 +

The fun my 6 yrs old twins and I had with Klutz Jr. Book & Craft Kit- Egg Carton Animals:

Well we followed the instructions to make

a fun goat with a goatee

a rather sheepish looking sheep

a peacock

and a monstrous cow

We got inspired to write a small barn-story too. Here it is:

Klutz JR. Egg Carton Animals- Book & Craft Kit is what every parent needs to keep the kids occupied   Klutz JR. Egg Carton Animals- Book & Craft Kit is what every parent needs to keep the kids occupied

Wow, The Cow Came Home:

Once upon a time there was a cow named Wow.

She was a bright little soul who loved to eat grass in a bowl.

But one fine morning in the barn,

Cow Wow was found missing with sheep's yarn.

The donkey brayed, they had been clearly betrayed.

The chicken went cluck-cluck, may be Cow Wow was somewhere stuck.

The goat bleated, they had been cheated.

The horse neighed, may be the cow was waylaid.

Then the heard the bell and somebody in the barn did yell.

That sounds like Cow Wow, she is back somehow.

The cat then miaowed, that Cow Wow had ploughed,

right into a ditch and had needed a stitch.

So she took the yarn, to the corner of the barn.

to be used and not sold, because Cow Wow was told,

by the friendly old vet. that she needed some thread,

to sew up her cut, and heal her butt.

And that is How

came back, Wow the Cow!

- We had absolute fun trying to rhyme the words. You can use this story to teach kids about different barn animals and their sounds. And you can introduce the kindergartens to big words like 'ploughed', 'waylaid', 'betrayed' and more.

P.N: Yes this is original! If you do intend to use it in any form please contact the author for permission, and under no circumstance forget to credit the author and KetchupMoms for the same.

Use this Kit to plan a Barn-Birthday Theme Party!

- This kit makes for a great Barn-Birthday party idea too. You just need to set up an activity table for the kids in your garden. Helps the kids make their favourite barn animal and let them carry them back.  To add more fun to the activity, create your unique party-stamp and stamp all the creations as a reminder.

- Add in fun Barn games like 'Tail the donkey', 'snorting contest' or  'guess what animals eat' .

- Treat the kids to Milk-shakes, Tandoori Chicken, sweet-potato cutlets and more.

- Return gifts can be fun animal-tails, animal masks, animal-theme books and more.
