History of Leela Palace Bangalore: In 2011 this luxurious property changed the face of hospitality in Bengaluru. Inspired by the architectural design of Palace of Mysore, this property has the grandeur of yesteryear's but is fully equipped with modern facilities for both travelers with kids like us and the white collared millennials.

10 Reasons we loved our stay at Leela Palace, Bengaluru with our Kids:

1) The elegantly designed rooms are spacious and the kids loved living like princesses.

2) The breakfast buffet is a scrumptious spread and the children and adults were spoiled for choice.

3) We ventured out for lunch but with our kids - a 7 yr old and a 2 yr old, dinnertime was always at Leela. We started the evening just relaxing at the Library bar and ended the day at one of their fine restaurants.

Citrus- An all-day dining restaurant gave us the choice of Asian, Indian and Mediterranean delicacies.

Le Cirque Signature- The food here takes you on a food trail around France and Italy.

Jamvar- This is where we treated ourselves to Indian culinary wonders.

Zen- This is a godsend for people with a liking for Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai cuisines.

P.N.- Kids can choose from their own kid-special menu.

4) The beautifully curated Spa treatments are not to be missed. So I made sure that my husband volunteered to spend quality time with our daughters, while I had a rejuvenating pampering session booked for myself.

5) Our Children stayed free of charge (Children under 11 years stay free when using existing beds). A free crib is also available for one kid, under 2 yrs.

6) The well-manicured gardens do provide free space for children to be just that- children.

7) Impeccable Service and the politeness of the staff made our journey stay extremely warm and memorable.
Checking out of Leela Palace, Bengaluru was tough on the kids, but our next stop in the magical forests of Madekri made it worthwhile. Excited to know more? Well, a post coming up soon I promise.
