Enjoy an all-cuisine spread with kids: Latitude, Taj Vivanta, Gurgaon

Latitude at Taj Vivanta, Gurgaon is our second kitchen literally. We go there when we are celebrating, and when we are not. But most importantly we love going there because our kids love eating and getting pampered there, every time.

Food: Taj Vivanta Sunday Brunch is our favourite especially because of Sushi. Their buffet range is wide. Their Indian and Continental is always good. Chinese is flavourful, fish in hot garlic sauce is a must. The Pizza and Pasta counter will always send you something delightful and their Satay is always nice and succulent. Their Salad range is also nice and teasing, unlike in other food joints. Their Indian dishes will tease your tastebuds and Continental will always make your stomach happy.

A special mention for their dessert counter. All the dishes there are always tasty, soft and delectable. The mousse, rasmalai, bread pudding, fruit cake, baked curd and the ice-cream counter…yum yum yum.

Ambience: The live music on Sundays makes it a very soothing experience. The interiors of Taj Vivanta make the place look happy, open and classy. The tiny corridor just before the entrance always makes for a great photo-op.

Service: You cannot falter them on this. It is impeccable, real Taj Style. Prompt, friendly, warm and sincere. A special mention of their F&B Manager Mr Sameer Gandhi who will go out of his way to make your experience memorable.

Value for Money: You pay for the entire experience and not just food, so it is worth it at Taj Vivanta.

Child-friendly: Earlier for their Winter Sundays, they had a separate kids buffet counter with pasta, mini pizzas, chocolates, chicken nuggets. A tattoo corner, bouncy and a balloon wizard were add-on delights. Unfortunately this seems to have been discontinued.

But they are more than happy to conjure up dishes for the kids and even get us a glass of fresh juice that is not on their buffet menu. Sometimes they even take out some surprise toys for the kiddies, which are much appreciated.

Bakery: We always order our celebratory cakes from Taj Vivanta and they are always soft, juicy and delicious. And if you are a regular they even reward you with their deliciously sinful Chocolate Truffle cake.

We always book our table in advance to rule out any surprises.
